Bijna alle games draaien op relatief eenvoudige hardware.
Ik heb hier alles behalve Unreal III goed draaien op een Pentium 4 met 1.25 Gb RAM.
Vooral als je een wat oudere PC hebt dan is de videokaart het belangrijkste, de pentium die ik noemde heeft een Nvidia 7300GS. Voor tegenwoordig ook niks bijzonders meer, maar voor toen heel redelijk.
Mocht je desalniettemin geen PC hebben die de spellen trekt dan heb ik hier in ieder geval 2 machines staan die je vrij gebruikt kunnen worden 🙂
Het slechte nieuws: We zijn een dagje down geweest. Het goede: De site draait niet langer op windows rommel maar op een degelijke linux bak!
Ik ben nog vol bezig met aanpassingen dus zal de site regelmatig even hikken.
Het registreren op de site is beschikbaar voor iedereen die de spelletjes wil downloaden!
Je kunt op deze link klikken om een account aan te vragen, ik zal deze dan goedkeuren (kan effe duren) vanaf dat moment kun je commentaar spammen en downloaden!
Het is leuk om te zien dat de site nog geen dag live is, en dat de eerste enthousiastelingen zich al hebben aangemeld! Ik ben nog op zoek naar een leuke race game, iets van Need For Speed bijvoorbeeld, met een goede multiplayer mode… Need For Speed Most Wanted ging niet zo lekker vorig jaar, Underground was max. 4 spelers… Iemand andere goede ideeen?
Nu er al heel wat spelletjes te downloaden zijn, is het tijd om aanmeldingen te gaan verzamelen!
